Dear Alum Rock Neighbors and Fellow Parents,
Our children deserve schools that put their learning and well-being first, even when the choices are hard. That is why I am asking you to re-elect me to the Alum Rock Union Elementary School District Board of Trustees.
In a district facing real challenges - enrollment decline, budget pressures, and the need for stronger academic results - I’ve been willing to make difficult decisions while keeping children at the center. I’ve worked to protect programs, strengthen emotional supports, and focus on core learning for every student, including our English Learners.
This election matters. With your support, I will continue working for strong academic programs, responsible fiscal management, safe and supportive schools, and decisions that keep students at the center. I respectfully ask for your vote so we can continue building a stronger future for Alum Rock students and families together.
Sincerely,
Linda Chavez
